Dan and I are considering a tour to Death Valley in late February or early March 2013. This would be a workshop dedicated to B&W with one of our favorite B&W photographers Chuck Kimmerle. I’d be interested in knowing of your interest in such a workshop. We would focus on B&W capture as well as processing. It would be our typical 6 day tour, first day arrival, four shooting days and a final sunrise day before breakfast and departure. Price would be around $1,500.
Check out the interview with Chuck in ND Magazine here.
The image today is from the Las Vegas Gehry building that we shot again on the way back from last weeks workshop. More to come!

Very, very interested….
Great Arthur, duly noted. Would be GREAT to have you along.
Unfortunately I brought my new camera with the more expensive full color sensor, not the cheaper more basic black and white sensor, so I may not be able to go…unless someone can loan me a camera with a black and white sensor.
Ummm Paul, you can convert your pretty color images to B&W with software….
Silly guy!
“Bought” not “brought” … stupid autocorrect.
Oh my yes, put me on the list
Okay Terry! Sure hope my dog does NOT EAT this list!
I’ll probably skip this one. Looking forward to Charlotte in 2013.
Please add me to the list!
If you have room for me on the black and white trip, I would LOVE to go!
John,
I have followed some of Chuck’s work in the past. I would definitely be interested in the workshop.
