Winter Wonderland

It appears that some of this white stuff might be on its way this weekend.  I decided to dig back a few years to review some images I made at a local park.  Again, I’m struck by the value of going back to look at past work.  Can’t believe I never processed this image.  I hope all had a great Holiday!

Elegantly simple and beautiful! We actually had a white Christmas! (By Texas standards) It’s mostly gone now. :)

    John,

Nice shot. Is this Peace Valley and Lake Galena?

Nicely done- I love the way the trees stand out with the dark trunks and limbs.

I was there just a few weeks back, not much happening then but this is tremendous John.
I’ll definitely be heading towards my local park if indeed we see any snow this weekend……

Your photograph makes me think about calmness and blissfull silence. It has also a great DOF.

    Have a nice year-end.

I love the simplicity of this image John! ou caught this at just the right time while the snow was still sticking to the branches.

Thanks Denise. Yes, I ran over that day because of the snow on the branches. :)
