A Day to Remember

My farther served in WWII and Korea, my brother in Vietnam.  I am grateful for their service to my country.  I am grateful to all who have served or are serving now.  Thank you for all that you have done.  And to the families of those who have served, thank you too.

The image is from Charleston.  I don’t remember is Josiah Flagg served or not, but I felt the image was appropriate for the occasion of Memorial Day.  Processed with the new Topaz Clarity and Topaz BW Effects.  Don’t miss the window of opportunity to get Clarity for $29.99 with the code claritynew until May 31st.  After that its $49.99.  Pretty great software.  And don’t forget my Topaz webinar on Tuesday.  I’ll cover Clarity as well as remind folks about TopazFXLabs which is an alternative to Photoshop.  Especially interesting with Adobe’s subscription only announcement for Photoshop moving forward.

Inspiring image- it really speaks to me, since cemeteries are one of my favorites. Have downloaded the free trial of Clarity- hope to catch the webinar to see all the possibilities. Will be shooting the Manhattanhenge that day, so I may have to catch it after it goes on YouTube.

I’ll be sitting in on your webinar Tuesday so I’ll be saying Hello John! I am disappointed though, with Adobe ending the purchase option for their boxed CS software and I know I am not the only one. There has been a huge uproar about it on NAPP’s LinkedIn group. People are saying they will stick with what they have. Renting software certainly isn’t going to work for me with my limited budget and it would be great to see Topaz further enhance photoFXlab to become a product that can replace Photoshop, if that’s possible. Either that, or I hope Adobe changes their mind. And in the meantime John, I love your image and Clarity looks like another must have tool!
