A Study in Green

Many of the the iconic views in the Palouse are from Steptoe Butte.  On one evening with our group I made this capture, a study in green.  The gentle rolling hills of planted crops make for endless compositions.

We are all exhausted today after a wonderful albeit long day yesterday.

The composition, combined with the contrast between the golden light and the distant fog, make this a wonderful study.

Instead of quoting one if your favorite sayings, “Yummynous” I will add, “Magically Deliciousness!!”

“May the world go green with envy, seeing the luck you will have from today!” Here’s to continued success and a magical workshop!!! All the best to you and yours!

I really love this, John. The patterns, textures, and colors all come together so beautifully here. A pretty much perfect photo of the Palouse.
