We are now using WeTravel for
all of our 2024 tours/workshops!
We are now using WeTravel for the rest of our 2024 offerings and beyond. WeTravel is a tremendous service where you can see all of the details about each of our offerings. In addition, you can book and pay directly from their site. The site also allows us to more easily communicate with participants, share and collect documents and more! We think you will like this interface as it will make it much easier to see where we are going and for you to choose the trip(s) that appeal to you.

A reminder about how we fill our offerings. We ask our customers during workshops and via newsletter communication where they want to travel with us. We then keep lists of the interest. When we have significant interest, we add the offering to our plans. When we are ready to release the offering for deposits, the “to be notified” list always gets first right of refusal. This typical means the offerings fill before offering them to the general public.
If you want to travel with us and are interested in a specific location, please send an email (in our contact page) and we will add you to our “to be notified” list! Thank you.
DEPOSIT INFORMATION: All 6+ day U.S Based workshops require a $500 deposit. The deposit information for the Hawaii retreat and The Hideout is in the details on each respective webpage. Foreign Tours require a non-refundable (unless we can fill your spot $1,000.00 deposit. Please email me for an address or PayPal information to send your deposit. I do not have a “Link” to click. I like to interact with real people!
Cancellation Policy:
Things happen. In those situations, the following applies…
All cancellations are subject to a $250 service charge. In addition, if you cancel and your spot is otherwise filled, you will be refunded the full amount you have paid (minus the $250 service charge). However if you cancel and your spot is not filled, the following fee schedule applies:
- 90 days or more: full refund minus a $250 fee and the non-refundable deposit on a foreign tour as stated in the Deposit Information above.
- Less than 90 days: no refund including the deposit.
Travel Insurance: It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Not only is it good to have in case your trip is interrupted, cancelled, or your bag is lost, but also for emergency medical situations. We recommend World Nomads.
What is NOT INCLUDED – Unless otherwise noted, all workshops do not include lodging, food or transportation. It is typical to ask participants to share a car to cut down on the amount of cars caravanning to the various locations. Lodging is always secured by me at a discounted group rate. Once you register, you will receive information about how to reserve and pay for your room from the block set aside for the workshop.
Covid Guidelines – We will follow the current suggestions of the CDC.
Cancellations
All workshops if cancelled by me due to Covid, are 100% refundable but you must seek reimbursement by your travel insurance first. All other cancellations are handled per our statement above.
Protocols during workshops.
Cathy and I are vaccinated. While we prefer ride sharing to keep cars to a minimum, we will not require anyone to do so if they are not comfortable. While we will do our best to mitigate risk, you must accept that there is at least some risk associated with travel at this time..

- I will do custom weekend events for photo clubs and groups who want to go to a specific area. I am also available for private instruction.
- I have three programs that I can do for photo clubs. One is “Dream – Believe – Create,” another, “Discovery & The Creative Process” and another “Master Your Craft & Honor Your Vision”. The programs are about an hour long.
