16mm Fisheye by JB | Nov 21, 2012 | Cape Cod, Color, Creative, Nik Software | 8 comments Facebook Google+ Pinterest reddit Like 0 Twitter During our Cape Cod workshop, Jeff Lovinger let me borrow his wicked cool 16mm fisheye lens. Guess what? I’m gonna own a 16mm fisheye too. So much fun! This was processed from one image using Nik Viveza. 8 Comments daDa on November 21, 2012 at 5:27 pm wicked lens! good choice! Reply Paul on November 21, 2012 at 6:43 pm Ha JB, you know you can use photoshop’s lens correction tool to get that distortion out of the picture? Reply john8276 on November 21, 2012 at 7:06 pm You know Paul, I actually tried that and it worked. 🙂 Reply Josh on November 21, 2012 at 7:18 pm JB, Striking fisheye image! Try the Lensbaby Fisheye— a less expensive alternative. I’ve had a LB fisheye for quite awhile for workshop demos. Reply john8276 on November 21, 2012 at 7:20 pm Yup I have the Fish from LB too. A different look altogether. Reply e-dude on November 21, 2012 at 9:27 pm I don’t get it. Isn’t that the way it always looks? Reply Dick on November 22, 2012 at 3:57 pm is that the Nikon 16mm for full frame? Great lens. Whenever we were together I would try to pilfer Doc’s 10.5mm; same view on a DX camera. I like the look personally. Coupled with it’s incredible depth of field it’s also fun to just stick into the middle of “stuff.” Reply john8276 on November 22, 2012 at 4:17 pm Yup the Nikon 16mm. Wayyyy too much money for what it is although its 2.8 glass and works great on FF. I’ll end up with one eventually… Reply Leave a Reply to john8276 Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
