This beautiful little girl was more interested in the crazy photographers than we were in her. She was about the best model you could hope for. Cute as a button and willing to pose for a long time! And then, the dog wanders into the frame… MAGIC!
Below is a close up where I felt B&W would be stronger. I’m also a big fan of the square format for many scenes. Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.0 for processing of the B&W image.
The more I see of your images from the Cuba trip, the more I want to go back! These are totally awesome… I missed seeing this cutie as I was off somewhere else that day.
John, I love the B&W one. Yes, a super cute model but you still have to capture the moment and you did sir! What an incredibly gorgeous photo.
an adorable child and a dog…doesn’t get any cuter than that! I’m a huge fan of square crops too so I love the BW one.
Another outstanding image, John.
Both are outstanding, John. I like the idea of the square crop on the B&W – works really nicely.
Adorable child. I like her lack of expression.
My fondest moments were the interactions with the kids. Innocent smiles. Love the images.
She was the cutest!
Liked both. Loved the second – especially the creamy skin against the pitted adobe.
love the B&W of this child…cool the dog showed up too
Beautiful work, John, especially the b&w. What did the dog cost?
1 Peso Dan. 🙂
LOVE the juxtaposition of the subject on this! (There’s a word I don’t use very often.)
I think thats 5 syllables, WOW!
Great scene, John! It’s so wonderful when those gifts of special moments happen. Dog is a great counterpoint to the little girl.
