Here is another from our pre-tour scouting. The clouds and their shadows are mesmerizing as they roll through the sculpted fields.

Beautiful, John – I’ve been there twice – spring and fall – the skies are sensational -it even standsup without a barn
You’re right Phyllis, barns are fun but not always necessary when the skies are great.
Lovely John. Have a great workshop!
OK, I’ll stay here another day! 🙂
Another beaut, John ! And all of this while pre-tour scouting ? Awesome !
On the one hand this shot makes me think a Chia Pet ate some of your dunes work. 🙂 More seriously, your photograph evokes the closing lines of Yeats’ “Song of Wandering Aengus,” i.e. “Though I am old with wandering through hollow lands and hilly lands….” I’m sure WBY would have loved this shot. Who wouldn’t ?? Slainte !
Thanks Bruce. Always appreciate your feedback.
Awesome image. You captured the essence of the Palouse:)
