For sunrise, we took the gang from Johnstown up to a Hawk Watch overlook and were greeted with color in the sky and fog in the valley! Hard to imagine it getting much better than this! Fuji X-E1 with 55-200mm.
I’ve been invited to present my Dream – Believe – Create lecture for a meet-up group in Plymouth MA on November 5th. I hope to see many of my New England friends there! Click this link for more information and to sign up.
John, this is a very striking image. I love all the layers! (…as well as the colors.)
Thank you Vicki.
John, this one is almost too beautiful to be real. It immediately brought to mind the famous opening lines of John Keats’ “Ode to Autumn” : “Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness….” I’m sure John the poet would have delighted in John the photographer’s capture of the heart of this fine season. I noted as I opened your blog how this photo appeared above that fantastic black and white shot of the tractor engine. SInce I was able to see both at once I noticed how the contrast of the two, each one great in its own regard, does an excellent job of showcasing the breadth of your talent. There are many famous photographers known for either their skillful use of color, or their ability to abstractly interpret the world in shades of gray. Ain’t many of them known to be good at both 🙂 So “BZ” to ya ! Slainte!
Again I thank you Bruce.
