Another from the Basin Pond the other day. This was such a unique situation and one that I would not normally think would work. This time, for whatever reason, I was drawn to it and enjoyed what I saw through the viewfinder. I was thrilled that with post processing I could recreate exactly what I felt while there.

Wicked it good from you. 🙂
Now that’s an intriguing photograph!
I hope in a good way….
WOW!! Beautiful.
John, that is one knock ’em dead composition! Beautifully done as in many of your other photographs where you’ve created a mutually beneficial uxtaposition of cool and warm tones. It’s also astounding how this image can be at once so serene and yet so dynamic. If you’re in the mood for a little fun, hang this puppy vertically with the scarlet and orange trees on top. Then step back and watch folks trying to figure it out. 🙂 Slainte !
That made me laugh out loud…
A very different and cool shot. It’s a thrill when you are standing there and Mother Nature just makes it all happen!
Thanks Mr. Towery

Thanks Nancy.
Interesting and different…cool shot! Love the colors and comp!
“Lights … camera … action!” Amazing what Mother Nature presents when you are really paying attention and appreciate the gifts before you! With the difference in light, you pulled off a difficult moment to capture! AWESOME job JB!
All the essentials….details, subtlety and then…BAM! Beautiful, John.
Thanks Dan.
